Jnanpith Awardees like Chandrashekar Kambar, and Girish Karnad were the alumnis of this University. It is a moment of pride for the students of this University as it gets A Grade from NAAC for the fourth time.
In pursuance of its action plan for performance evaluation, assessment & accreditation and quality upgrade of institutions of higher education, NAAC proposes that every accredited institution should establish an internal quality assurance cell (IQAC), as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. IQAC will become a part of the institution’s system, and work towards realisation of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. IQAC will look after all the process of submitting the documents to the NAAC portal.
