Dharawad: The Congress Minority Wing staged a protest in Hubballi against the Central Government’s move to hike the prices of commercial and cooking gas. They staged a protest near the Tahasildar’s Office against the Central Government.
A unique protest was held with an empty gas cylinder demanding that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government, which is deceiving the people of the Country in the name of ‘Acche din’, should immediately bring down the price rise.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP Government at the Centre has been continuously increasing the price of cooking gas. It has been proved time and again that Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the Country who is deceiving the people by instilling the hope of ‘Achhe din’ in the people of the Country, the protestors alleged.
The activists blamed the rising prices of essential commodities. They even submitted a memorandum to the Central Government through Tahasildar demanding immediate reduction in the price of gas cylinders.
