Dharawad: Condemning the sudden hike in the price of LPG Gas by the Central Government, JD (S) workers in Hubballi-Dharawad District staged a protest against the Centre and the State Government by putting up an empty cylinder near Rayanna Circle in Hubballi.
JD (S) workers protested and said that the poor and the middle class are in distress due to the hike in the price of cylinders. The Government should immediately reduce the price of cooking gas so as to be at the reach of the poor.
They insisted that if this demand was not met, a fierce struggle would be launched in the days to come.
