Dharawad: “Stamp duty money will be important for the implementation of programmes for the welfare of the people and development of the State implemented by the Governments along with various grants,” said MLA Arvind Bellad.
He was speaking after inaugurating the new office building of the Department of Mines and Geology at Lakamanahalli. “The Government will provide funds for the implementation of the programme which is conducive to development.” The MLA said that the revenue comes from important departments like GST, Excise Department, Motor Vehicle Department, Stamp Duty, Mines Department, and Industries Department etc.
The Department of Mines and Geology is the main department of the Government which collects funds for the development of the District and the State, works, said MLA.
Forest Housing and Resorts’ Association President Rajesh Kottannavara, other public representatives and officials were present on the occasion.
