Hubballi: The Congress government has issued a guarantee. But they are cooking their political dal in the five kg rice provided by the central government. In this regard, when the central government should transfer money to the accounts of the eligible beneficiaries instead of giving five kg of rice, then the people will know how much rice is given to the people,” said MLA Aravind Bellad,.

Speaking to mediapersons about the Congress guarantee in the city, he said, “One person will get 10 kg of rice per month. People don’t just eat rice. In this context, if the money for the five kg of rice provided by the central government is deposited in the account of the beneficiaries, they will buy grains like jowar and ragi for their daily life. Then people will be aware of the Congress guarantee,” he said.

I still urge the central government to come to such a decision in the interest of the people and with a view to exposing the colour of the congress government, he added.
