Dharwad: The District Administration, Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, Forest Department, Department of Public Instruction and SDM Engineering College, Dharwad, have jointly organised the World Environment Day celebrations on June 5, 2023 at 11 am at the Auditorium Hall of SDM Engineering College.
Deputy Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde will inaugurate the programme. SDM Engineering Society Secretary Jeevanandhar Kumar will preside over the function. Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Swaroop T.K., District Superintendent of Police Lokesh B. Jagalasara, Deputy Conservator of Forests Sonal Vrishti, K.R.M.M. Senior environment officer Syed Khaja Mohideen, deputy director of public education department S. S. Keladimatha, K.R.M.N.M. Environment Officer I.H. Jagadeesh, Principal of SDM Engineering College Dr. K. Gopinath will be the chief guest.
