Gadag: Chairman of the Karnataka State Permanent Backward Classes Commission (KSPBCC) K. Jayaprakash Hegde said on Wednesday November 16 that the panel is urging the government to ensure orphans’ reservations in jobs and educational institutions.
The former Minister has been visiting districts and speaking with people from various Other Backward Castes to compile a report on their demands for reservations.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “The orphans were not given any reservations because they had no clue about their caste or category. We are currently working on this. We thought of giving them justice.”
