Gadag: Police raid in houses of twin Cities

Gadag: The Police led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shivananda Pavada Shettar on Friday December 9 conducted raids at the houses of suspected persons in different parts of the City and inspected the weapons.

Cases of stabbing and assault with deadly weapons were registered at various places in the twin cities of Gadag and Bettageri. Following this, the police checked the firearms in the houses in various areas of the City including Kammarasalu, Ranganawada, Theggina Plot and other areas.

Several people were injured in connection with the stabbing incidents in two areas of the City in the last one week. More than five accused were taken into custody.
