Haveri: The 86th Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be held in the City from Friday January 6 to Sunday January 8 will witness several firsts and this word fair will be a model for other conferences in the future.
From the funds released towards the conference construction of the stage, grand procession of the President of the conference, participation of foreigners in the conference, release of 86 books at the 86th Sahitya Sammelana, lighting on the lines of Dasara, special arrangements for punctuality at the conference, use of QR code for parking of vehicles coming to the conference, app use for the registration of representatives and Kannada Ratha Sanchar across the State is being held. Thus, the 86th Sahitya Sammelana is preparing for many of these firsts.
Special arrangements have been made for punctuality during various sessions of the conference. A red-light buzzer has already been installed to let the audience know when the guests’ speeches are coming to an end.
