Haveri: The State budget for the next financial year will be tabled in February 2023, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday December 24.
To make preparations for the budget in January, discussions with all departments, a few boards, and corporations will take place once the current session ends, he added.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said that the budget will be presented in February. “Two rounds of meetings with officials from the finance department have already taken place in this regard,” he added.
The proposed budget session will be the final session of the current Karnataka Assembly before the upcoming Assembly elections.
