Vijayapura: Responding to BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa’s claims of three ministers being involved in corruption, Karnataka water resources minister MB Patil on Wednesday challenged him to disclose the names of the ministers.
Speaking to media persons at his residence here, Patil challenged Yeddyurappa to disclose the names of ministers instead of making baseless allegations. When media persons said that his name is also suspected in the names of ministers allegedly involved in corruption, Patil dismissed the allegations.
Is Yeddyurappa CBI director to claim so? Let him disclose names of ministers. I have not indulged in any illegal act to earn ill-gotten money. I have done all work as per law. Yeddyurappa should disclose names if he has the names of ministers. It is for the investigating agencies like CBI and ACB to decide whether me or any officials of the Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Limited is corrupt,” said Patil.
It may be recalled Yeddyurappa had claimed that three ministers will lose their ministership owing to corruption, after HY Meti quit as excise minister due to a sex scandal.
