Vijayapura: MLA Basanagouda Yatnal and Former Hunagund MLA Vijayanand Kashappanavar have spoken loosely about the Banajiga Samaja at a rally in Hukkeri, stated Kushtagi Taluka Banajiga Samaja. The organisation has now threatened to intensify its agitation if the dup do not apologise to the Banajiga Samaja immediately.
An emergency meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Vishwanath Kannur, President of Kushtagi Taluk Banajiga Samaja, at the Adati shop of Mudakappa Jigajinni of APMC Ganj Yard in Kushtagi on the evening of Sunday October 23. MLA Basanagouda Yatnal and Former Hunagund MLA Vijayananda Kashappanavar have spoken lightly about the Banajiga Samaja at a rally to protest for 2A reservation of Panchamasali Samaja at Hukkeri. The Banajiga Samaja has performed a social responsibility in the mathas, education sector and health care and these people don’t have the moral standing to talk about this society. Banajiga and Panchamasali have never treated differently in the society. In a society that lives like brothers and sisters, their statements have exposed their vile mentality, he added.
Banajiga Samaja President Vishwanath Kannur warned that the two leaders should immediately apologise to the Banajiga Samaja or else a fierce struggle would be inevitable.
