Vijayapura: Former Union Minister, and Vijayapura MP Ramesh Jigajinagi said that Maharashtra’s political leaders are in sleepy mood all the time, but whenever the elections come, they try to create a political conspiracy by raking up the border dispute in Karnataka.

Addressing a press conference in the City on Thursday December 29, he said that the people of both the states want harmony. And the Maharashtra’s political leaders are disturbing harmony,” he said.

He also said, “I am opposed to the idea of running the existing line of Vijayapura – Mangaluru train via Karwar District. If need be, a separate train should be planned to connect Gokarna and Ulavi religious places, he said.
