Vijayapura: A twelve-year-old boy has been beaten up badly by stripping and tying him to a pole in Vadavadagi Village of Basavanabagewadi Taluk here in the District.
As per news that has come to light late, it is said that some local people beat up the boy for a minor fault of his. Hanumataraya Madikeshwar, a 45 -year-old man of the village is accused of beating up the boy.
The boy had reportedly sent some objectionable voice message to the accused on his social media account. Enraged with the message, the man caught the boy and beat him up by stripping him and tying to an electric pole.
Meanwhile some local youth have captured the video of the incident in their mobile phones which later went viral. The incident is said to have happened on March 18, which however came to light only on March 21. Basavanabagewadi Police has filed the case.
