Vijayapura: A youth from District was duped of Rs. 39 lakh online on the pretext of getting married after he became acquainted on Facebook. The police have succeeded in arresting a housewife from Hassan District for cheating.
Hailing from Dasarahalli in Channarayapatna Taluk of Hassan District, K. R. Manjula Swamy is a housewife who has been arrested.
Another accused in the case is Swami Basavaraj, who had assisted his wife in the fraud.
Parameshwara Nanagowda Hippargi of Bagalur Village iin Sindagi Taluk of Vijayapura District was the man duped by a housewife.
