Vijayapura: BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal said he had spoken to Nadda and was absent after taking permission. I did not deliberately skip the programme of the BJP, he added.
Speaking to mediapersons in the City, he said, “Though I have not received any notice from the party asking for a reason, speculations are rife. “There are false reports about me in the media,” he said.
“Don’t ask anything about Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, I have huge respect for him. “On the advice of other Senior Party Leaders, I have decided not to say anything about Yediyurappa, who is a Senior Party Leader,” he clarified.
Since the High Command has instructed him not to speak about Yediyurappa, he has to accept it. Not everything can be ignored. Hence, he said that he would put an end to the political conflict against Yediyurappa, said a party source.
