Vijayapura: In a shocking incident, a 32-year-old woman and her three children died by suicide on the night of Saturday January 28 by jumping into a water sump in Tikota Taluk of the district.
The deceased have been identified as Geetha Ramu Chauhan, and her children Kishan (3), Srusti (6) and Samarth (4).
Police informed that Geetha and her husband Ramu had a fight on Saturday night about domestic issues. Geetha tossed the three kids into the sump after a heated argument, and she also jumped in.
Ramu was reportedly sleeping inside the home at the time of the incident informed the police.
