‘Janaspandana’ to be held every Tuesday to address public grievances

Bengaluru: Officials from the grama panchayats to the Chief Secretary’s office of the Vidhana Soudha, should personally conduct ‘Janaspandana’ day to address the grievances of the general public, starting December 19.

After a meeting of the principal secretaries of the various departments, here at the Vidhana Soudha, the Chief Secretary K Rathnaprabha announced that as per the direction of the Chief Minister, it has been decided to conduct the Janaspandana.

The grama panchayat PDO, secretary, tahsildar, deputy commissioner, secretaries of the various departments, general secretary and chief secretary should all be present in the respective offices to provide solutions to the problems of the people. If there are any programmes are scheduled for the officers on that day, they are to be cancelled.

Presently, 3 pm to 5 pm has been earmarked in all the government offices for the public to visit. This will continue in the future as well.
