12 Arrested For Reckless Wheelies In Bengaluru

In Bengaluru’s western region, the traffic police have taken action by apprehending 12 individuals involved in reckless wheelies. Between January 1 and May 6, the Rajajinagar traffic police conducted targeted operations, uncovering 14 instances of wheelie stunts on major roads like the Outer Ring Road, West of Chord Road, and Sankey Road within their jurisdiction.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic, North), Siri Gowri, stated in a released statement that two cases have been lodged against the parents of minors found engaged in such dangerous acts. Legal action is being pursued under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) against the arrested individuals, with efforts underway to revoke the driving licenses of five offenders through the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
