Bengaluru: In all 12 Karnataka students who were studying MBBS at various universities in war-torn Ukraine have returned. They returned to Mumbai on the late hours of Saturday February 26.
They returned to Karnataka in a special flight arranged by the State Government.
According to the State Emergency Operations Centre and Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA), as many as 388 students, all pursuing MBBS courses in Ukraine are stuck in this war-hit country. These students are spread across the country.
In Ukraine, there are 127 students from Bengaluru, 28 from Mysuru, and 23 from Bagalkot.
