404 buildings notified as dangerous in B’luru: BBMP survey - 1 min read

Bengaluru: A survey carried out by the BBMP revealed that 404 buildings in the City are dangerous as their structure has weakened.

The survey was initiated after collapse of three buildings recently. Due to heavy rainfall, old buildings are collapsing like nine cards in the City.

The survey was carried out to find out the extent of challenge posed by old buildings in the City.

The highest number of such buildings are reported from Bengaluru South where 103 buildings are considered as dangerous.

The BBMP has taken up structural stability of other buildings also to find out their safety.
