In a shocking incident reported near Hegganahalli Cross in Bengaluru, five buses parked near a private nursing home college caught fire earlier on Monday. The incident was reported at around 2:40 pm, and the local fire brigade immediately rushed to the spot.

Incident details

The buses, reportedly parked in a space belonging to the college, went up in flames accidentally. Soon, the flames from one bus swept away to the other buses parked beside it. The college authorities informed the fire brigade at once. The firefighting team of the local fire brigade reached in time and managed to douse the fire before it spread to other areas. The Rajagopal Nagar police also came to the spot and took stock of the situation. They also confirmed that no casualties were reported in connection with the incident.

Investigation

As per the preliminary reports, it is yet to be established what led to the fire. Though initial reports suggest that the fire may have started accidentally in one of the parked buses, the college management is cooperating with the investigating authorities.
