Bengaluru: Amid the COVID 19 crisis, a group of 19 youths held a flash dharna at the Mourya circle (next to Anand Rao circle) with the placards including Free Kashmir. Following the incident, the police launched an investigation to find out who instigated the agitators.

According to the police, the protestors didn’t apply for any permission which is mandatory as per the law. “It was like a flash protest,” informed authorities.

These protestors also held placards seeking the release of Amulya Leona Noronha, anti-CAA-NRC protestors across the country, etc. “Initially one held such a placard. Later two persons found waving such placards. They left the venue even before policing arriving at the spot,” informed police sources.

“There is no clarity from where these youths arrived and who sent them to hold a protest as all are working to contain the spread of the COVID 19,” added police.
