Aarohan started its journey in 2019 as one of the 100+ Bengali Associations of Bengaluru and took the stage overnight with the best new Durga Puja award in Bengaluru. And there was no turning back – Aarohan in its last 6 years has won numerous awards for its Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Social awareness, social activities – winning millions of hearts to become the name in every Bengali mind in Bengaluru.
This is not because Aarohan showcases extravaganza, but Aarohan believes in touching the souls of whoever comes near it. Aarohan believes in humanity and human relations more than the material glamour. That is why Aarohan doesnot only indulges in cultural activities but also is deeply involved in social activities throughout the year may it be during Covid times arranging food to many hungry mouths or the yearly support to nearby Government schools and needy students or the active regular drives in the orphanages to bring smile to the orphans and elderly citizens of East Bangalore across caste , creed, religion and community. Aarohan believes that worshipping the humanity is also a form of worshipping Devi Durga, the compassionate and loving Mother Goddess of us all.

This year Aarohan has planned to bring Bengal in Bengaluru in forms of Durga Puja Pandal by the artisans whose creations placed Kolkata Durga Puja in the world heritage map, bringing in the essence of Bengali bhog by the chefs from Kolkata and many other small yet memorable touches of Kolkata Durga Puja.
