Bengaluru: In a heart-wrenching incident, scattered remains of a man were found after nearly hundred vehicles passed over his body as he lay dead on BATPL elevated flyover early Saturday morning.
According to the Madiwala police, the incident occured around 2.30 am on Saturday morning when the victim, assumed to be a beggar was hit by a vehicle while he was walking on the BATPL elevated flyover killing him on the spot. The vehicle driver however did not bother to stop and fled the scene. As the body continued to lay on the road over 100 vehicles ran over it crushing it badly and rendering it shapeless. Several pieces of the body were found scattered till about 100 meters away revealing the severity of the incident.
The issue came to light when an unknown vehicle driver alerted the police by calling 100. By the time police reached the spot, the body was totally shapeless.
