Bengaluru: The Department of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Government of Karnataka, has constructed choultries or guesthouses at Tirumala, Srisailam, Mantralayam and Tiruchanur in Andhra Pradesh, at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, and at Tuljapur in Maharashtra to provide accommodation for pilgrims from the state.
