Bengaluru: Police have finally nabbed the accused who poured acid on a young woman while on the way to work in the City.
The accused Nagesh (27), was nabbed from Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. He was disguised as Swamiji to evade arrest, it is said.
A team of Kamakshi Palya Police conducted an operation and arrested Nagesh, it is learnt.
The attack on 25-year-old woman took place on April 28. She is currently undergoing treatment at St. John’s Hospital.
As many as 100 policemen were involved in searching for the accused. Police had issued accused’s pictures and a lookout notice in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil as well.
