Bengaluru: BBMP commissioner Anil Kumar has informed that senior IAS officer Anbu Kumar will bot be transferred from the Palike. Kumar is currently serving as the additional commissioner (administration).
Reacting to the corporators’ allegations that Anbu Kumar is blocking developmental works, he stated that he knows Anbu Kumar very well.
“There may be some confusion over his style of administration. He will be retained in the BBMP as such officers are required,” he said.
His reaction has gained significance with the ruling BJP corporators, led by Mayor Gautham Jain, allegedly demanding his ouster from the BBMP citing his tough actions.
