Bengaluru: Baby Sanjana, who was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Victoria Hospital, passed away on Thursday.
The condition of Baby Sanjana remained critical till date. Sanjana suffered 60 per cent burns in a suspected LPG blast that occurred in a two-storied building in Ejipura here.
The three-year-old was rescued from the building debris by Fire and Emergency Services personnel three hours after the building collapsed on Monday. She had been rushed to Victoria Hospital for treatment.
Earlier in the day, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy, accompanied by Mayor Sampathraj, visited Victoria Hospital on Thursday and enquired with the doctors about her condition.
The other victims of the building collapse, Dileepan and Janaki are recovering at Victoria Hospital.
