Bengaluru: The BBMP has advised the students who are staying in the hostels and paying guests (PGs) to move to their native places.

According to the sources, BBMP advice came after the State Education Department made it clear that offline classes may not start for the near future and only the online classes will be conducted for next few months.

BBMP fears that there is the possibility of spread of infection in the hostels and PGs. It also cautioned the PG owners against keeping the inmates as they it requires them to stay in small spaces and spread of infection therein becomes easy.
