Bengaluru: Here is good news for hardcore fans of Challenging Star Darshan who are disturbed with the news of Bengaluru urban district administration going ahead with its demolition of their favourite actor’s house at Ideal Homes Layout for allegedly encroaching the storm water drain.

District admin takes over actor Darshan's RR Nagar house-1The High Court on Tuesday ordered the Bengaluru urban administration to maintain status quo on the property until it hears the case fully. It may be recalled that Darshan is among 69 people in Raja Rajeshwari Nagar whose properties are earmarked for demolition for allegedly encroaching upon storm water drains.

The Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner’s office contends that Darshan’s house in the Ideal Homes Layout in Rajarajeshwari Nagar is an impediment to rain water drainage. The actor was issued a notice on September 28, and he went to the High Court seeking for stay order.

However, this is only an interim order. Justice S Abdul Nazeer said the order would be in force until he hears the district administration’s response to Darshan’s petition.
