BBMP launches 24×7 mobile testing units in B’luru - 1 min read

Bengaluru: To increase testing, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has introduced 24×7 on-call mobile testing in the South Zone.

By contacting the South Zone helpline, citizens can now get tested at their doorstep.

“A few organisations have taken up the initiative as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme,” said BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta.

The Mobile Testing Unit (MTU), which operates 24 hours a day, will only perform a Rapid Antigen Test and provide immediate results. “Patients will be given clear direction on next steps based on the results,” Gupta added.

The initiative will be expanded to other zones based on its success.
