Bengaluru: Customs officials at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) here caught a passenger trying to smuggle in 23 iPhone 14 Pro Max phones.
The passenger boarded Thai Airways flight TG 325 in Bangkok on Saturday October 22 at 8.15 pm (IST) and landed at Bengaluru airport at 11.54 pm.
Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) officials used behavioural analysis and profiling to take the passenger aside for interrogation.
Following a search, it was found that the luggage had smartphones worth Rs. 34.47 lakh.
The passenger was arrested and the phones were seized, informed officials.
