Bengaluru: Karnataka Contractors Association President Kempanna made it into national headlines after making 40 per cent allegations against the state government. His letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent shockwaves across the BJP state unit. On Saturday December 24, he and five others were arrested in connection with a defamation case filed by the Minister Muniratna.

The court had issued a non-bailable warrant against him and others. On Saturday evening the city police arrested them.

Earlier Kempanna had made 40 per cent commission charges against the Minister. The Minister had also moved to the court.
