Bengaluru: AICC elections, break for BJY on October 17

Bengaluru: A day’s break has been announced for Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) on October 17 to enable Rahul Gandhi and other delegates to cast their votes at All India Congress Committee elections (AICC).

An announcement in this regard came from Madhusudan Mistry, the Returning Officer.

According to the authorities around 40 delegates are walking with Rahul Gandhi. To ensure that all of them will able to cast votes this break has been announced.

The ballot boxes will be airlifted to New Delhi after the voting. Voting centre has set up at Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee Office on Queen’s Road.
