Bengaluru: BJP Core Committee Meeting held on the night of Sunday March 26 witnessed lengthy discussion on the prevailing political situation in the State.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah who chaired the meeting asked leaders to concentrate on old Mysuru region to avoid formation of another hung Assembly.
According to the sources, Shah took a dig at the Senior leazders for not able to create pro-BJP wave in the State. He asked leaders to continue the aggressive campaigning to avoid another hung Assembly.
Sources informed that Shah asked leaders to concentrate on Mysuru, Mandya, Ramanagara, and Bengaluru Rural Districts where party needs to win over 30 seats to ensure that JD (S) will not play a kingmaker role.
Sources also added that he took a dig at a few Leaders for engaging in unnecessary comments on the party organisation and ticket distribution.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Former CM B. S. Yediyurappa and others were present in the meeting which held for over four hours.
