Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner Tushar Girinath held a meeting in the South Zone on Tuesday July 12 and gave instructions to staff members to make sure they are available in the office between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm to take note of issues in the area and resolve them.
He advised Joint Commissioners to install nameplates on the office premises and include the times of their availability to address public complaints.
The authorities must identify the vendors blocking footpaths and take appropriate action, he added.
