Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Thursday September 29 was directed to fill potholes in the roads during a meeting to discuss ways to reduce traffic congestion in the City.
The City’s civic body has been tasked with filling 1,051 potholes on arterial and sub-arterial roads.
BBMP Administrator Rakesh Singh, who also serves as the department’s Additional Chief Secretary for Urban Development, gave the civic body’s officials to fill 1,051 potholes on the city’s arterial and sub-arterial roads.
Over 1,051 of the 4,545 potholes that the BBMP and the traffic police department have found have not yet been fixed. The meeting’s officials were told by Singh that the potholes will be filled.
