Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa are aiming to win 150 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections. And keeping that in mind, “Jana Sankalpa Yatra” will begin in the State from Tuesday October 11 under the leadership of Yediyurappa, said MLC and State BJP General Secretary N. Ravikumar said.
A team led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa will take out a ‘Jana Sankalpa Yatra’ in 50 Assembly Constituencies from Raichur Rural Assembly constitzuency from Tuesday. He said that the party has already started touring 50 Assembly Constituencies and a team led by State In-Charge Arun Singh has already started touring 25 Assembly Constituencies in view of achieving the target of winning 150 Assembly Constituencies.
He also said a team led by State President Nalin Kumar Kateel too has been touring 50 Assembly Constituencies.
The tour will be held on Tuesday in Raichur Rural, on Wednesday October 12 in Hospete and Kushtagi, on Thursday October 13 in Hoovina Hadagali and Siraguppa Assembly Constituencies.
A massive public meeting, District BJP Leaders’ Meeting, Meeting of MLAs and MPs and temple visits will be held on the occasion.
