Bengaluru: In a move expected to backfire BJP, the State unit of the BJP blamed the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for the division of the country through a full front-page advertisement against Rahul Gandhi.
For the first time, BJP made such an attack on Nehru in the public domain.
This full-page advertisement appeared in black issued a day after Rahul entered the State. Photos of Jawaharlal Nehru and Jinnah are used in this advertisement. The advertisement blamed Congress and the Gandhi family in the advertisement and Nehru was dubbed as Thodo Piatamaha.
The advertisement received sharp criticism from the Congress which raised objections for the content.
