A Bengaluru cab driver’s impressive earnings have sparked an interest after a Reddit user shared a recent conversation with him. The Redditor, who had just returned from a function, was astonished to learn about the driver’s daily income, which reportedly ranges between Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000.
The Reddit user recounted the encounter, saying, “I was returning from a function and booked a cab. During the ride, I got into a conversation with the driver about his earnings. He revealed that he makes around Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 per day. I was taken aback! If he earns Rs 3,000 daily and works for 25 days a month, that amounts to Rs 75,000 monthly.”
He continued, noting that even after deducting petrol expenses, the driver still retains a significant portion of his earnings. Additionally, the driver has another cab operating under Ola, which generates extra income. The driver proudly mentioned that his children attend a good school. When asked about his experience, the driver shared that he has been driving since 2019, following the loss of his previous job.
The driver further elaborated that despite fuel costs, he manages to save a considerable amount. His supplementary income from driving for Ola has enabled him to provide quality education for his children. He recounted that he turned to cab driving in 2019 after being laid off from his former job.
