Bengaluru: A high-end car crashed into a petrol bunk at Attibele in southern Bengaluru late on Wednesday night, triggering a fire and leaving a petrol bunk employee injured.
The incident occurred when the car, driven by a man identified as Sanjay, crashed into the petrol station and struck an employee before hitting the fuel dispensing area.
Car catches fire after crashing into petrol bunk
According to the police, Sanjay was driving the car when it ploughed into the petrol bunk at Attibele. The vehicle first hit petrol bunk employee Guddu Kumar before crashing into the fuel dispensing area.
The car caught fire soon after the collision, creating panic at the petrol station and surrounding area.
A video of the incident showed the vehicle engulfed in flames after the collision. Fire and Emergency Services personnel were called to the spot and brought the blaze under control.

Employee suffers leg injury
Guddu Kumar sustained injuries to his leg after being struck by the vehicle.
He was immediately shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Police said his condition is stable.

Driver and passenger escape
