Meenal Goel, a former Deloitte employee, recently reflected on her early years while pursuing her Chartered Accountancy qualification. At the time, she earned just ₹15,000 a month, a significant portion of which went towards securing a quiet place to study.

According to Goel, ₹10,000 from her monthly salary was spent on rent for a single-occupancy room. While the decision left little money for daily expenses, she considered it necessary to create an environment where she could focus on preparing for her examinations.

“I was too proud to ask my parents for money,” she recalled, explaining that her family had already sacrificed a great deal to support her education and upbringing.
