Bengaluru: CCB raids three illegal hookah bars in City

Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) informed that it raided three hookah bars that were running illegally in the City.

The anti-narcotic wing held raids in Madiwala, Lady Curzon Road and Domluru.

According to sources, CCB officers raided the Kashish Cafe in Domluru and seized Rs. 50,000 worth of ingredients and flavours used in hookah preparation besides Rs. 1,000 in cash.

The hookah maker, the owner and the Manager of the hookah bar have all been booked by the JB Nagar Police.

The seized items at Burnout Cafe, which is locate on Lady Curzon Road of Infantry Road included flavours and ingredients worth Rs. 80,000. The officials also informed that Rs. 10,000 was also seized.

The Owner and Manager of the hookah bar as well as the hookah maker have been booked by Commercial Street Police.

CCB officers seized Rs. 80,000 worth of ingredients and flavours used in hookah preparation, and Rs. 3,000 in cash from Emirates Cafe and Sheesha Lounge, Madiwala.

Madiwala Police has booked the owner and Manager of the hookah bar as well as the hookah maker.
