Bengaluru: The Union Government is organising a meeting of all State agriculture ministers in Bengaluru on July 14 and 15 for the first time. The two-day conference will focus on initiatives to double farmers’ income and exchange best practises among states.
Over 30 State agriculture ministers as well as Union Agriculture Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Shobha Karandlaje will take part in the meeting.
The event, which will also feature several discussions on other farming-related topics, is being organised by the Union Ministry for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare.
