Bengaluru: After taking charge as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) President, Mallikharjun Kharge is visiting the State for the first time on November 6. The Congress State Unit has decided to host a civic reception at the Palace grounds.
According to the party leaders, Kharge will be brought to the KPCC office on Queen’s road in a procession. Later a civic reception will be held at the Palace grounds.
“He will arrive at Bengaluru international airport at 8.00 am. The civic reception will be held at 2.00 pm at palace grounds,” informed Congress leaders.
In the civic reception, several national and State leaders including former CM Siddaramaiah, KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar, and others will participate.
