Bengaluru: Karnataka Congress has filed a police complaint against Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, J. P. Nadda, State President Nalin Kumar Kateel, and MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi. The complaint was filed in connection with Jarkiholi’s claim that he would pay each voter Rs. 6,000 if they support the BJP in the upcoming elections.
Congress alleged that this shows how BJP is trying to bribe voters.
This is a deliberate attempt to undermine the democratic process,” stated the complaint.
