Bengaluru: Cong finalises bus yatra schedule for Assembly polls

Bengaluru: Congress which is sensing a comeback in the State in the 2023 Assembly election decided to carry out a bus yatra between December 30 and January 30.

Through this yatra, the grand old party wants to cover 2 Districts everyday. 80 kilometers distance will be covered in a single day.

Both Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar, and Opposition Party Leader Siddaramaiah will participate in this yatra.

The yatra will start on December 30 from Alamatti Dam area of Vijayapura District. It will conclude on January 30 at Bengaluru.

A Committee has been formed to make this yatra success. On January 21 and 22, this yatra will be carried out in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts.

After the conclusion of this yatra, D. K. Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah will carry out different yatras in North and South Karnataka regions to mobilise the party for the election.
