Bengaluru: Like every year, this year too, a seven-day Cooperative Week will be observed from November 14 to 20. The ‘Sahakari Ratna’ award will be presented to senior co-operatives on November 14, said Cooperation Minister S. T. Somashekar.

It has been decided to inaugurate the Cooperative Week in Kalaburagi on November 14. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate the programme. It has been decided in the meeting to hold the valedictory function in Mysuru on November 20.
The 7-day event will be held in a grand manner. Everyone should act for the success of the programme. Local representatives should take the cooperatives into confidence for the success of the programme in their respective districts. Everyone should be invited to the event irrespective of party affiliation. It has been asked to ensure that there is no lapse in the programme, he said
