Bengaluru: It is alleged that pro-Kannada Activist Shivakumar and his team assaulted Hindu Activist Puneeth Kerehalli for his derogatory remarks against the family of actor Dr. Rajkumar.
It is said that Shivakumar and his team tore clothes of Puneeth Kerehalli in Chamarajpete here in the City on Friday December 23. Chamarajpete Police visited the spot and conducted inspection.
Puneeth Kerehalli is said to have made derogatory remarks about Puneeth Rajkumar about the recent incident in Hosapete. There was an argument on social media over the same issue. On Friday night, it turned out to be a disaster.
Police has informed that Shivakumar and his team have demanded an apology. Puneeth Kerehalli refused and was assaulted for the same.
A complaint has been registered at Chamarajapete Police Station.
